Thursday 29 October 2020 Calendar Covid-19

This Wedesday 28th October, the President of the French Republic announced new measures to fight the Covid-19 epidemic of which a second wave hits the whole Europe. These measures have taken effect on the 30th October 2020.

Similarly to what we did during the first wave of the epidemic, SDCEM wishes to responsibly take part in the collective effort to fight against this virus.

As we did during the first lockdown, we are keen to keep our factory operational to limit as much as possible the impact of this situation on our clients.
The on-site services provided by our team (adjustment, commissioning and formation) are also maintained.
Alongside, all SDCEM administrative collaborators will be back on lockdown at home.

The middle, secondary and high schools remaining open, we expect to have a much smaller impact on our ability to deliver your orders since the majority of our employees will have the availability to carry out their professionnal activity (we will do our utmost to compensate for the preventive absence –for health reasons- of a few collaborators).

We have set up the necessary tools to enable tele-working and our professional phone numbers have been redirected: you can still contact us at our usual details (email, phone, Teams).

During that period, we unfortunately cannot visit or receive our customers. However, we will be able to keep all our commitments remotely (by Teams or phone) in order to preserve this bond which is important to us.

Believe in our commitment to stand by your side in those unique circumstances, but from a distance.

Should you need additional information, do not hesitate to ask your usual contact at SDCEM.

Tuesday 1 December 2020 Calendar Covid-19

On Tuesday November 24th, the President of the French Republic announced new steps to gradually lift lockdown measures.

Since November 28th, lockdown has been eased with more flexibility on our movements and activities as well as the reopening of shops and home services.
From December 15th, the lifting of lockdown is considered if sanitary conditions allow it and a curfew from 9pm to 7am will be reintroduced.
Lastly, from January 20th 2021, restaurants and gyms may open again and face-to-face courses in high school will resume (15 days later for universities).

SDCEM wishes, as we have always done, to participate in the country’s effort to fight this epidemic.

These measures have no significant impact on our organisation. The majority of our employees are still working from home. On-site presence is continuously assured to ensure proper coordination of our services along with the progress of our contracts.

Our factory remains operational. Although on-site services provided by our team (adjustment, commissioning and formation) are still maintained, the visits to our site and at our clients’ / suppliers’ remain very largely limited.

We would like to reiterate our commitment by your side in this particular situation.

Should you need additional information, do not hesitate to ask your usual contact at SDCEM.
